摘要: Abstract We review experimental and theoretical studies on the design control of spatiotemporal behavior in chemical systems. A wide range approaches have been pursued to dynamics, from periodic forcing medium excitability imposing static dynamic heterogeneities geometric constraints global feedback with without delays. focus dynamics excitable oscillatory media. Experimental examples are taken Belousov–Zhabotinsky (BZ) reaction oxidation CO single crystal Pt, which become paradigmatic systems for dynamics. present characterizations based complex Ginzburg–Landau equation as well models BZ CO/Pt reactions. Controlling allows realization specific modes or may give rise completely new types behavior.
