Outcoupling Efficiency Improvement of Planar OLED Devices with Square-based Microlenses

摘要: In this paper, analysis of outcoupling efficiency improvement and optical characteristics organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) attached with square-based microlens arrays are presented. A array, having a base length 35.4 μm fill factor 89.6%, increases the luminous current OLED device by 42% 47%, respectively. Optical properties device, such as emitting spectrum CIE coordinate, have also been investigated when different factors.
