摘要: Pentacene was first obtained by dehydrogenation of dihydropentacene (V). This is formed pyrolysis the ketones (I), (II) and (III). Pentaphene (see p. 353) also produced as a by-product, sometimes even re-arrangement ketones. Dibenzoyl-m-xylene (I) prepared from xylene, benzoyl chloride aluminium under rather drastic conditions. The ketone terephthaloyl o-tolyl magnesium bromide (III) 4benzyl-1,3-dimethylbenzene, chloride.1
