摘要: Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) offers a basic solution to support mobility in networks. Although Hierarchical MIPv6 (HMIPv6) has been designed enhance the performance of by hierarchizing network, it does not always outperform MIPv6. In fact, two solutions have different application scopes. Existing work studies impact various parameters on and HMIPv6, but without analyzing their this paper, we propose model analyze scopes through which an Optimal Choice Mobility Management (OCMM) scheme is designed. Different from existing that either new management schemes or schemes, OCMM chooses better alternative between HMIPv6 according service characteristics users, addressing whether hierarchize network. Besides that, best anchor point regional size when adopted, how Simulation results demonstrate key as well optimal HMIPv6. Finally, show outperforms terms total cost including average registration packet delivery costs.
