摘要: Morphological correlates of male mating success were assessed in natural populations three Drosophila species. Mating males D. simulans larger than single but characterized by reduced developmental stability as indicated fluctuating asymmetry. pseudoobscura no exhibited significantly greater stability. In mojavensis, however, and they showed a similar level asymmetry to that observed males. The differences between species are discussed the context their systems reproductive ecology.
