摘要: Assembly of particles into three dimensional structures is critical for a variety advanced applications including photonics, optics, catalysis, MEMS, drug delivery and biosensing. Needless to say, precise control over the structure properties three-dimensional particle assemblies essential in maximizing functionality that afforded by these structures. One method enables rapid, inexpensive potentially scalable assembly involves using fluid droplets bubbles as directing agents. Recent advances microfluidics allow formation highly uniform structured can be used direct In this review, we introduce recent developments microfluidic techniques generate complex bubbles, which are subsequently various nano microparticles. We also highlight number functional supraparticles have been shown exhibit unique photonic sensing properties. conclude review providing an outlook on current challenges opportunities need addressed microfluidic-based approaches broader impact widely applicable methods directed particles.
