摘要: The objective of this feasibility study is to evaluate the use ‘Physilog’ device, an ambulatory physical-activity recorder based on acceleration measurement, for monitoring daily physical activities. Accelerations measured at level chest and thigh are recorded by Physilog over a period 1 h in five normal subjects. A specially designed studio-like room allowing performance most usual activities everyday life used. video film synchronised with obtained each subject check accuracy data derived from Physilog. Based analysis average deviation signal, algorithm developed classify four categories, i.e. lying, sitting, standing locomotion. Compared observations, results show overall misclassification 10.7%, which mainly due confusion between dynamic posture. In contrast, postures negligible. It concluded that can be used clinical setting reliable measurement long-term recording most-usual
