摘要: Peripheral nerve blocks appear to provide effective analgesia for patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty. Although the literature supports use of femoral block, addition sciatic block is controversial. In this study we investigated value and an alternative technique posterior capsule local anesthetic infiltration analgesia. 100 were prospectively randomized into three groups. Group 1: block; 2: infiltration; 3: control. All received a spinal anesthesia. There no differences in pain scores between Sciatic provided brief clinically insignificant opioid sparing effect. We conclude that do not significant analgesic benefits.
