A Prototype Hand Geometry-based Verication System

摘要: Geometric measurements of the human hand have been used for identity authentication in a number commercial systems. Yet, there is not much open public literature addressing research issues underlying geometry-based authentication. This work our attempt to draw attention this important biometric by designing prototype geometrybased system. We also present preliminary veric ation results based on 50 individuals captured over period time. The are encouraging and we plan address improve system performance.
