摘要: Research indicates that teachers, among other professionals, continue to underreport cases of suspected child maltreatment. To better understand factors associated with noncompli- ant behaviour, we investigated teachers’ knowledge of, compliance with, and attitudes toward mandatory abuse reporting in British Columbia. Results showed virtually all the participating teachers were aware existence law; they were, however, only moderately knowledgeable about specific components legislation. Teachers’ tendency respond varied as a function type maltreatment, sexual being most likely be reported emotional least reported. Les recherches indiquent que les enseignants, entre autres, continuent ne pas signaler tous cas presumes d’enfants maltraites qu’il y aurait lieu de signaler. Afin mieux comprendre facteurs associes ce comportement, auteurs ont cherche savoir si enseignants connaissent la loi qui oblige, en Colombie-Britannique, maltraites, s’ils respectent et quelles sont leurs vis-a-vis cette loi. resultats demontrent pratiquement participants savent existe, mais plus ou moins dispositions precises.
