摘要: Lateral root (LR) formation is an important organogenetic process that contributes to the establishment of architecture in higher plants. In angiosperms, LRs are initiated from pericycle, inner cell layer parent roots. Auxin a key plant hormone promotes LR formation, but molecular mechanisms auxin-mediated remain unknown. Molecular genetic studies using Arabidopsis mutants have revealed auxin transport system with balance influx and efflux for initiation subsequent primordium development. addition, normal signaling mediated by two families transcriptional regulators, Aux/IAAs ARFs, necessary formation. This article update on plants, particularly Arabidopsis.
