摘要: The biomechanical changes in the spinal column are considered to be main responsible for rachialgia. Although radiological techniques use ionizing radiation, they most applied tools assess biomechanics of spine. To face this problem, non-invasive must developed. Vertebral Metrics is an radiation-free instrument designed detect 3D position each vertebrae a standing position. Using stereo vision system combined with low intensity UV light, recognition achieved software capable distinguishing fluorescent marks. marks skin projection vertex processes. This paper presents major development and its evaluation. It performs scan less than 45 s resolution on order 1 mm, spatial direction, therefore, allowing accurate analysis was patients without associated pathology. Statistically significant differences between consecutive scans were not found. A positive correlation positions vertebra homologous other observed. Metrics, innovative results can obtained. used areas such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, rehabilitation.
