摘要: Hydrides show good performance for hydrogen gas storage/release. However, release from hydrides via hydrolysis is a slow process and thus requires catalyst. Herein, terephthalic acid (TPA) used the synthesis of hierarchical porous zeolitic imidazolate framework (HPZIF-8). A mechanistic study materials involved an in situ zinc hydroxide nitrate nanosheets with interplanar distance 0.97 nm. Terephthalic modulates pH value solution leading to formation HPZIF-8 Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area, Langmuir total pore size 1442 m2 g-1, 1900 0.69 cm3 respectively. The formed phases during undergo fast conversion HPZIFs at room temperature. application prepared NaBH4 reported. Acidity plays important role catalytic materials. ZIF-8 using shows high activity rate 2333 mLH2 min-1 gcat-1 (8046 gZn-1). material exhibits without any deterioration its several uses continuous feeding. There are no changes material's structure after catalysis indicating recyclability
