摘要: As the largest and driest state in India, Rajasthan is faced with a daunting task of meeting many different water demands every year. In light this scarcity, rainwater harvesting (RWH) has been widely promoted as means to increase surface supplies, well recharge local groundwater. midst widespread adoption, knowledge gap exists understanding hydrologic impacts. order close gap, study was carried out from May-July 2006 Wakal River Basin, Rajasthan, India. Within study, geographic information system (GIS) tracer tools were utilized investigate groundwater dynamics harvesting. Results provide evidence that most RWH structures will fill up annually, even under conservative scenarios. Furthermore, hydraulic gradient provides flows toward downstream wells. Finally, use delta18O Cl- geochemical tracers harvested these nearby
