Droop-controlled inverter-based microgrids are robust to clock drifts

摘要: Clock drift in digital controllers is of great relevance many applications. Since almost all real clocks exhibit drifts, this applies particular to networks composed several individual units, each which being operated with its clock. In the present work, we investigate effect clock drifts inverter-based microgrids. Via a suitable model that incorporates phenomenon, prove inaccuracies hamper synchronization microgrids, inverters are fixed uniform constant electrical frequency. addition, show well-known frequency droop control renders stability lossless microgrid robust respect inaccuracies. This claim established by using results reported previously authors for microgrids ideal clocks. We also discuss on active power sharing. The analysis illustrated via simulation example.
