摘要: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that affects up to 1% of the population in Europe. The EQ-5D most commonly used generic instrument for measuring health-related quality life among HS patients. This study aims compare measurement properties two adult versions (EQ-5D-3L and EQ-5D-5L) patients with HS. We recruited 200 consecutive (mean age 37 years, 38% severe or very HS) participate multicentre cross-sectional survey. Patients completed EQ-5D-3L, EQ-5D-5L, Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) Skindex-16 questionnaires. More than twice as many different health state profiles occurred EQ-5D-5L compared EQ-5D-3L (101 vs. 43). A significant reduction ceiling effect was found mobility, self-care usual activities dimensions. good agreement established between an intraclass correlation coefficient 0.872 (95% CI 0.830–0.903; p < 0.001) confirmed by Bland-Altman plot. improved both absolute relative informativity all dimensions except anxiety/depression. demonstrated similar convergent validity DLQI Skindex-16. able better discriminate known groups based on number comorbidities severity (HS-Physician's Global Assessment). In HS, outperformed feasibility, effects, known-groups important clinical characteristics. recommend using across various settings, including care, research economic evaluations.
