Trade Facilitation Indicators: The Impact on Trade Costs

摘要: This report presents the findings of OECD indicators for assessing economic and trade impact specific facilitation measures in countries. Twelve (TFIs) have been constructed, corresponding to main policy areas under negotiation at WTO, with aim estimate addressing hurdles procedures a given country. For countries, that seem greatest on volumes costs are advance rulings, information availability, formalities inter-agency cooperation. If all TFIs added their cost reduction potential would reach almost 10% costs, which is an consistent existing literature.
