摘要: The majority of existing research in Music Information Retrieval (MIR) has focused on either popular or classical music and frequently makes assumptions that do not generalize to other cultures. We use the term Computational Ethnomusicology (CE) describe computer tools assist analysis understanding musics from around world. Although MIR techniques can serve as a good starting point for CE, design effective benefit incorporating domain-specific knowledge about musical style culture interest. In this paper we our realization approach context studying Afro-Cuban rhythm. More specifically show how help us characterize appreciate complexities tracking tempo analyzing micro-timing these particular styles. A novel template-based method rhythmically complex is proposed. domain-specific, believe concepts ideas used could also be cultures after some adaptation.
