摘要: We previously reported a decrease in Na+ dependent amino acid (AA) transport by endotoxic rat soleus muscle, vitro. This study evaluated the kinetics of AA vitro, active vivo and intra- extracellular concentration (mmol/L) calculated chloride equilibrium potential (mv) muscle. Fasted male rats (90 g) received an i.v. injection system A analog alpha-aminoisobutyric (AIB) (1 mg/kg) Salmonella enteritidis endotoxin (ETX) (20 or saline (SAL) were killed 4–5 h later. Kinetic parameters Vmax (nmol/g dry wt/min) Km (mM) estimated from initial rates AIB uptake during incubations O2-Krebs with various [AIB] (0.1–20 mM). muscle was expressed as distribution ratio (DR; [AIB]intracell/ [AIBJextracell) to assess transport.
