摘要: Reducing the current is a common method to ensure synchronous stability of modular multilevel converter (MMC) when there short-circuit fault at its AC side. However, uncertainty location system leads significant difference in maximum allowable stable operating during fault. This paper proposes an adaptive MMC fault-current control using local phasor measurement unit (PMU) measurements. Based on estimated Thevenin equivalent (TE) parameters system, can be directly calculated output power does not rely off-line simulation and adapts itself various conditions. The effective measurements are firstly selected by voltage threshold parameter constraints, which allow us handle error due change system-side. proposed TE estimation fast track impedance without depending initial value deal with potential changes after large disturbance. shows that accurately fault, instruction MMC.
