摘要: A thermo-responsive injectable bioactive glass (BAG) that has the ability to set at body temperature was prepared using pluronic F127 and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose as carrier. The composite advantage fill irregular shape implantation sites quick setting temperature. structural morphological analysis of BAG before after done by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). effect an ultrasonic scaler for a also investigated. sets formulation three-folds faster than homogenized dispersion. in vitro bio-adhesion studied bovine tooth both artificial saliva deionized water periodic time intervals, i.e., day 7, 30, 90, 180, which confirmed apatite layer formation. mineral density used differentiate newly formed with apatite. In MTT assay, experimental material showed continuous proliferation cell growth. This indicated hydrogel promoted growth, facilitated proliferation, had no cytotoxic effect. SEM micro-CT results (performed bioactivity testing) regenerate dentin, hence this potential be dental biomedical applications including bone regeneration minimally invasive procedures future.
