摘要: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia in adults and contributes directly to adverse clinical events, ranging from ischemic stroke heart failure cardiovascular death. Because incidence of AF its attendant complications increase with age, there a strong growing need develop safe, effective widely available therapies. The following review summarizes use oral anticoagulants older AF, focusing on practical topics such as drug metabolism, drug–drug interactions, co-morbidities cost considerations complex payer environment.
