摘要: Multipath fading phenomenon is central to the design and analysis of wireless communication systems including multiuser systems. If untreated, will corrupt transmitted signal often cause performance degradations such as increased error decreased data rate, compared wireline channels with little or no multipath fading. On other hand, this phenomenon, if fully utilized, can actually lead system designs that provide additional gains in experience non-fading channels. The question thesis tries answer how analyze a takes advantage benefits diversity channel provides. Two particular techniques are discussed analyzed first part thesis: quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) receivers, maximal ratio combining (MRC) generalized selection (GSC). We consider practical case imperfect estimation (ICE) develop new decision variable (DV) MRC receiver output for M -QAM. By deriving its moment generating function (MGF), we obtain exact bit rate (BER) under arbitrary correlated Rayleigh Rician channels, ICE. GSC provides tradeoff between complexity performance. study effect ICE on effective SNR BER results -QAM significance lies these designers means evaluate different estimators their parameters affect system’s help them distribute resources most effectively improve In second thesis, look at technique unique
