摘要: Although the main peripheral features of dreaming were identified two millennia ago, neurobiological study basic and higher integrated processes underlying rapid eye movement (REM) sleep only began about 70 years ago. Today, combined contributions successive complementary methods electrophysiology, imaging, pharmacology, neurochemistry have provided a good level knowledge opposite but activating inhibitory which regulate waking mentation are disturbed during REM sleep, inducing schizophrenic-like mental activity.
