摘要: Abstract The evolution of intergranular lattice strains in a textured, forged bar (Bar) sample the α − β titanium alloy Ti–6Al–4V has been characterised using situ X-ray diffraction. A two-phase elastic–plastic self-consistent (EPSC) model developed to rationalise results. Of orientations analysed, it is found that {2 0 0} β orientation most compliant and load partitions this during plasticity. results from material have then used predict response unidirectionally rolled plate (UD) Ti–6Al–4V. It predicted residual { 1 0 ¯ } 2 will be significantly higher UD material.
