摘要: Abstract A new rhodamine based fluorescent turn on sensor L has been reported as a highly selective and sensitive chemosensor for the Cr3+ ion in CH3CN-H2O solution. In presence of ion, strong fluorescence enhancement is attributed due to interaction with L, leading opening spirolactam ring B amide form. The sensing mechanism also supported by Job’s plot, ESI-MS, 1H NMR titration experiments. Importantly, this probe shows high selectivity over other biologically relevant metal ions. Also, anions do not show any effect. addition, detection limit found be up 7.5 nM which acceptable within EPA (US) limit. able function broad biological pH range 4–8. Furthermore, cellular penetrability its potential use confocal cell imaging studies.
