摘要: Optimal configurations of circular bars under free torsional and longitudinal vibration are investigated using the Pontryagin’s maximum principle (PMP). The necessary optimality condition PMP is analysed by considering cross-sectional area as control variable Maier objective functional to final state functional. associated different orders eigen frequencies, vectors, specific boundary conditions demonstrated. Their relations also explained qualitatively. Numerical results show equivalent about optimal frequencies conditions.
