摘要: The ratio of the lengths second and fourth finger (2D∶4D) has been described as reflecting degree prenatal androgen exposure in humans. 2D∶4D is smaller for males than females associated with traits such left-handedness, physical aggression, attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder a genetic polymorphism receptor. All these are known to be correlated vulnerability alcohol dependency. We therefore hypothesized low patients In present study on 131 suffering from dependency 185 healthy volunteers, we found that dependent had ratios compared controls preserved sexual dimorphism but reduced right-left differences. detection based was most accurate using right hand (ROC-analysis: AUC 0.725, sensitivity 0.667, specificity 0.723).
