Inhibitory mechanism of cardanols on tyrosinase

摘要: Abstract Cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL), extracted from cashew shell, is an abundant natural resource. Cardanols were the major phenolic components isolated CNSL. In this research, we reported on inhibitory mechanism of cardanols tyrosinase for first time. We studied functions and revealed underlying as inhibitors. Cardanol triene, cardanol diene monoene could decrease steady-state rate diphenolase activity efficiently. The IC50 values three compounds determined to be 40.5 ± 3.7, 52.5 ± 3.2 56.0 ± 3.6 μM (n = 3), respectively. Meanwhile, kinetic analysis intrinsic/ANS-binding fluoresecence-quenching showed that one might enter into tyrosinase. characteristic further interact with Besides, computational study molecular docking implied affect amino acid residues active site. Collectively, moderate activities effectively.
