摘要: The MESCLA project, funded in the framework of MyOcean 20009 R&D Call, is focused on estimation and analysis vertical exchanges associated with mesoscale dynamics their interannual variability. rationale for this project comes, one hand, from fundamental role played by modulating ocean circulation fluxes heat, freshwater biogeochemical tracers between surface deeper layers, and, other high level uncertainty related to possible feedback variability both Earth climate marine ecosystem functioning. presents several original innovative aspects, proposed methodologies analyze physical data, i.e. (1) applying quasi-geostrophic diagnostics different products, model observation based, (2) comparing its results corresponding primitive equation solutions, (3) testing alternative multivariate techniques interpolate combine satellite situ observations. A description approach, activities achieved during first year will be presented.
