摘要: An abdominal aortic aneurysm is defined as the increase of infrarenal diameter 3.0 cm and more. Infrarenal frequent in elderly causes 1-3% all deaths among men aged between 65 85 years. These aneurysms are typically asymptomatic until life threatening event rupture. Therefore screening risk populations like persons with cardiovascular factors for seems to be most important. usually detected by sonography. a 5.0-5.5 should treated either open surgical or endovascular therapy. If therapy indicated, additional computer tomography (CT) magnet resonance imaging (MRI) necessary. The mode treatment mainly depends on patient co-morbidity morphology according CT/MRI-findings determined individually.
