Energy transfer in europium doped yttrium vanadate crystals

摘要: Abstract The absorption, fluorescence and excitation spectra lifetimes were obtained at temperatures from 8 K to room temperature, for single crystals of yttrium vanadate doped with several concentrations europium. A model is proposed explain the luminescence properties YVO4 based on transitions within VO3-4 ion. host sensitized energy transfer in YVO4: Eu3+ explained by amodel thermally activated exciton migration. predicts observed temperature concentration dependences intensities lifetimes. diffusion coefficient, length, hopping time trapping rate are determined compared similar data other systems.
