摘要: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes cancer-related death in world. Reactive oxygen species (ROS)-induced oxidative stress has been considered a key player development and progression various liver diseases, including viral hepatitis, fibrosis, cirrhosis, cancer (e.g., HCC). In addition to endogenous antioxidants, quercetin available food natural antioxidant protect humans against stress. This protective effect mediated through reducing ROS production, increasing capacity DNA repair, promoting antioxidative responses cells. addition, several studies have found that also an antiproliferation on HCC Moreover, combination treatment with chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin induced synergistic cytotoxic These results together suggest not only prevent but potential anticancer for treatment.
