摘要: . However, this hexamers can also occur at non-telomeric sites in some avians and vertbrate. This study was carried out to present the distribution of telomeric DNA sequences Korean Native Chicken chromosomes. The fluorescence situ hybridization technique using a probe performed metaphase spreads chicken early embryonic cells. Telomeric signals were detected ends chromosomes including macro-chromosomes microchromosomes. In chicken, surprisingly, chromosome 1 showed very distinct interstitial patterns which located two p-arm 1p11 1p23, one q-arm 1q32. number 2 3 displayed (ITS) long arms 2q24 3q32, respec-tively. pattern agreement with previously reported Gallus domesticus. relative amount each macrochromosomes ranged from 4.6% 16.3%. Distribution DNAs end much more than that almost chro-mosomes. ITS chromsomes implicate tandem fusions might have occurred during process karyotype evolution.(Key words : telomere, chromosomes, FISH, signal, chicken)To whom correspondence should be addressed shsohn@jinju.ac.kr(telomere) !"#$%&'()*DNA+$,-./012345, 56DNA TTAGGG$78.9:;4 ?. @AB !CDEFG(HI(JDKLM 9N-O>HI(P, QR;ST?DNA #$&.UVMWXY4Z[\]QR^_N`9(\a?(Blackburn, 1991; Zakian, 1995; Shay, 1999; Weng Hodes, 2000).
