摘要: Biosphere models are used to evaluate the exposure of populations radionuclides from a deep geological repository. Since time frame for assessments long-time disposal safety is 1 million years, potential future climate changes need be accounted for. Potential conditions were defined northern Germany according model results BIOCLIM project. Nine present day reference regions cover those conditions. A biosphere was developed BIOMASS methodology IAEA and parameters adjusted at regions. The includes pathways common in stylized relevant hypothetical self-sustaining population site radionuclide contamination end points Dose Conversion factors (BDCF) range scenarios normalized constant concentration near-surface groundwater. Model suggest an increased dry with high impact drinking water consumption rates amount irrigation agriculture.
