摘要: The localization of γδ T cells within epithelia suggests that these may contribute to the down-regulation epithelial malignancies. We report mice lacking are highly susceptible multiple regimens cutaneous carcinogenesis. After exposure carcinogens, skin expressed Rae-1 and H60, major histocompatibility complex–related molecules structurally resembling human MICA. Each is a ligand for NKG2d, receptor by cytolytic natural killer (NK) cells. In vitro, skin-associated NKG2d+ killed carcinoma mechanism was sensitive blocking NKG2d engagement. Thus, local use evolutionarily conserved proteins negatively regulate malignancy.
