摘要: Abstract The present paper summarizes an approach recently proposed in Netherlands to use the equilibrium partitioning (EP) method derive a coherent set of quality criteria for aquatic systems. refer dissolved concentrations, concentrations suspended particles, total (dissolved + particulate) and sediment. have been derived standard sediment, water matter. Emphasis is laid on relation between effect data physicochemical data. Two types used, i.e. effects toxicity (direct effects) health related (product standards). Both translated into above mentioned by means EP. For calculation sediment matter solids-water partition coefficient K sw used. Examples given cadmium hexachlorobenzene. handled equations summarized diagrams.
