CONDUCTANCE CORRELATIONS NEAR INTEGER QUANTUM HALL TRANSITIONS

摘要: In a disordered mesoscopic system, the typical spacing between peaks and valleys of conductance as function Fermi energy $E_F$ is called correlation range $E_c$. Under ergodic hypothesis, latter determined by half-width ensemble averaged function: $F= $. ordinary diffusive metals, $E_c\sim D/L^2$, where $D$ diffusion constant $L$ linear dimension phase-coherent sample. However, near quantum phase transition driven location $E_F$, above picture breaks down. As an example latter, we study, for first time, correlations integer Hall transitions which critical coupling constant. We point out that behavior $F$ interplay static dynamic properties phenomena.
