摘要: Resonant ultrasound spectroscopy (RUS) was used to analyze the elastic and anelastic behavior associated with canted antiferromagnetic ordering at 36 K in radical, $\ensuremath{\beta}$-$p$-NCC${}_{6}$F${}_{4}$CNSSN, 1. On cooling through magnetic transition there is anomalous away from expected uniform stiffening decreasing temperature, consistent magnetoelastic coupling. The excess stiffness follows order parameter linearly below temperature. A much larger change properties short-range between ${T}_{\mathrm{c}}$ 150 which appears correlate an heat capacity (and entropy). Thus it that onset of long-range this spin system might only be a partial contribution whole phase transition.
