摘要: Smart grid is an intelligent power generation, distribution and control system. ZigBee, as wireless mesh networking scheme low in cost, power, data rate, complexity, ideal for smart applications. Unfortunately, almost all ZigBee channels are overlapped with local area networks (WLAN) based on 802.11 specifications, resulting significant service degradations interference scenarios. We propose a frequency agility-based avoidance algorithm, which utilizes Energy Detection (ED) active scan to perform channel selection. This algorithm can detect adaptively switch nodes “safe” dynamically avoid WLAN interference. Our proposed was empirically evaluated terms of the packet error rate (PER) using Wifi coexistence testbed, results were compared our analytical results. The measurement show efficiently mitigates effect WiFi upon networks.
