摘要: Proteomics is a recent field of research in molecular biology that can help the fight against cancer through search for biomarkers detect this disease early stages its development. Proteomic speedily growing technology, also thanks to development even more sensitive and fast mass spectrometry analysis. Although technique most widespread discovery new biomarkers, it still suffers poor sensitivity insufficient reproducibility, essentially due tumor heterogeneity. Common technical shortcomings include limitations detecting low abundant possible systematic biases observed data. Current attempts are trying develop high-resolution proteomic instrumentation high-throughput monitoring protein changes occur cancer.
