摘要: Abstract Background and Aim Mitochondrial dysfunction contributes to the pathophysiology of diabetic cardiomyopathy. The aim this study was investigate acute changes in mitochondrial proteome response insulin stimulation. Methods Results Cardiac mitochondria from C57BL/6 mice after stimulation were analyzed using two-dimensional fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis. MALDI-TOF MS/MS utilized identify differences. Two enzymes involved metabolism four structural proteins identified. Succinyl-CoA ligase [ADP forming] subunit beta identified as one differentially regulated proteins. Upon stimulation, a relatively more acidic isoform protein increased by 53% its functional activity decreased ∼32%. Conclusions This proteomic remodeling may play an important role normal heart.
