摘要: Cancer prevention (chemoprevention) by using naturally occurring dietary agents has gained immense interest because of the broad safety window these compounds. However, many compounds are hydrophobic and poorly soluble in water. They frequently display low bioavailability, poor systemic delivery, efficacy. To circumvent this problem, we explored a novel approach toward chemoprevention nanotechnology to deliver luteolin, natural compound present green vegetables. We formulated water-soluble polymer-encapsulated Nano-Luteolin from studied its anticancer activity against lung cancer head neck cancer. In vitro studies demonstrated that, like inhibited growth cells (H292 cell line) squamous carcinoma (SCCHN) (Tu212 line). Tu212 cells, IC50 value was 4.13 μmol/L, that luteolin 6.96 μmol/L. H292 15.56 14.96 vivo tumor xenograft mouse model significant inhibitory effect on SCCHN comparison luteolin. Our results suggest nanoparticle delivery advantages may have potential application clinical settings.
