Successful management of viable cervical pregnancy by local injection of methotrexate guided by transvaginal ultrasonography

摘要: We evaluated the feasibility of transvaginal methotrexate injection viable cervical pregnancies to avoid complications "classic" surgical procedures in use and preserve future fertility. Five pregnancies, at 6 8 weeks, were treated. In three patients a spring-loaded automated puncture device two manually operated simple needle guide mated guided by ultrasonography probe used with 21-gauge needles. The treatment was successful without all five cases presented. This procedure may become useful alternative other, more radical or complex approaches.
