摘要: Many strains of Bacillus cereus cause gastrointestinal diseases, and the closely related insect pathogen thuringiensis has also been involved in outbreaks diarrhea. The diarrheal diseases are attributed to enterotoxins. Sixteen reference B. nine commercial 12 were screened by PCR for presence 10 enterotoxigenic genes (hblA, hblC, hblD, nheA, nheB, nheC, cytK, bceT, entFM, entS), one emetogenic gene (ces), seven hemolytic (hlyA, hlyII, hlyIII, plcA, cerA, cerB, cerO), a pleiotropic transcriptional activator (plcR). These encode various enterotoxins other virulence factors thought play role infections mammals. Amplicons successfully generated from each these sequences, except ces gene. Intriguingly, majority enterotoxin factor appeared be widespread among as well strains.
