摘要: Abstract The present paper employs the finite element method to determine plastic strain and rate when machining an AISI 1045 steel. A validation of process using literature experimental values was also conducted in order verify if obtained results with commercial software were close those found within literary research. comparison shows that modulation can be used either or special attention is taken into consideration analytical models. effect high speed (HSM) cutting steel observed. From simulations, it concluded both predicted good precision FEM model.
