摘要: In this article, I revisit a widely used measure of legislative professionalism that developed over decade ago (Squire 1992a). argue has different implications for legislators than legislatures and the concept is distinct from careerism. then discuss mechanics compiling measure, its reliability validity, potential criticism measure. Finally, provide scores on 1979, 1986, 1996, 2003, as well 1979 2003 revised theoretically appropriate use in dynamic analyses.
