摘要: This paper describes a practical method, illustrated with examples, of evaluating true AVAZ (AVO as function azimuth) effects in 3D. Seismic data may be recorded different offsets and azimuths at each mid point, there are geologic factors which cause the AVO response to vary respect azimuth. Conventionally extracted attributes incorrect if azimuth dependencies not considered. There number reasons why present seismic data, some these have been discussed previous literature (see for example Hall 1996), is considerable current interest potentially improved understanding subsurface that can yield.
