摘要: The trochlear dysplastic femur has a specific morphotype previously characterised by not only features of the trochlea but also notch and posterior femur. In this study morphology tibia patella was investigated to gain further insight in complete geometrical complexity knee. Arthro-CT scan-based 3D models 20 normal knees were uniformly scaled landmarks landmark-based reference planes created quantify series morphometric characteristics patella. mediolateral direction, 3D-analysis revealed 3% smaller medial tibial plateau (30.4 ± 1.6 mm vs 31.5 ± 1.6 mm), overall width (73.6 ± 2.0 mm 75.7 ± 2.0 mm), 16% facet (17.3 ± 2.2 mm 20.1 ± 1.3 mm) 4% (41.7 ± 2.5 mm 43.4 ± 2.3 mm) knees. anteroposterior lateral 5% larger (37.2 ± 2.3 mm 35.5 ± 3.1 mm). A correlation test between that show less correspondence compared Significant differences detected Both narrower compartment leads significant width. These findings are important for understanding knee biomechanics design total arthroplasty components. III.
