摘要: Background & aims Pre-eclampsia is associated with oxidative stress in the maternal circulation. The aim of study was to access status by quantification byproducts generated during lipid peroxidation; deficient antioxidant activity and inadequate trace elements damage umbilical cord blood pre-eclamptic/eclamptic mothers its effect on fetal outcome. Methods In a case control samples were collected delivery from cases normotensive (uncomplicated pregnancy) subjects as controls. Concentrations malondialdehyde, (Zn, Cu, Se, Mg) enzymes (SOD, GPx) determined. Results Decreased levels Zinc (p Conclusions reduced amount may be important contributing factor leading endothelial dysfunction mothers.
